    with video game violence. I don't have kids. if you are parent, and don't monitor what your kids play, that's your problem, not the government's, imo.

      There are adult gamers as well, and we'd like to have our fun too, thank you very much. :P  Kiddie games just don't cut it for me.

        the average age for PC gamers is 37. I can't find a hard number for console gamers, but from what I can see the average is still over 30.

        which has a lot to do with why there are so many mature games aimed at adults. Adults are the biggest audience for these things.

          And I play modded Sims games (mods that would effectively erase that T-rating for me personally), Rise of Nations, and Age of Mythology.  They're T-rated to be sure, but I do know in RoN, you get to blow shit up.  Never would I do that in real life.
