Ductie, you may have some insight into where to look, online....

Our Sunday service will have a reading of the dead going on, non-stop, in the background.  It starts before people enter, and will continue... and continue... until after people have left.

The American dead alone are enough--more than enough.  But our intention is simply to memorialize all the dead we can in this hideous, insane conflict.

Finding the names of the Iraqis who've died, so that this isn't just a list of US troops that are being acknowledged, is turning out to be hard.  This diary's given me a bunch of names... if sometimes only part of a name, or a family name.

Do you have any idea where else I can find some sort of record of at least some of the non-military dead?

(I expect to be a basket case Sunday afternoon; reading a thousand names or so of those who've died in this clusterfuck will shred me)
