      not caring, either.
      Delegating authority is not weak leadership, especially when delegated intelligently to someone perhaps better suited to the task.
      Biden is not an accessory to Obama. He's a force in his own right.

        In this instance I think delegating to Biden is the best decision.

        Let's face it - the gun nuts and recalcitrant Republicans hate the mere sight of the president and what he represents.

        If his face is out of this equation I think there's a better chance for progress since they can't tie any proposals specifically to the president.

        I have little doubt that he will keep very close tabs on the issue behind the scenes.

        The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy... the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.
