  •  what a beautiful baby you have! (6+ / 0-)

and i totally agree with you - stress melts away when you're with a "pony"...

they know when you just need snuzzling and gladly oblige.

magic moments - mine with my nimbus - half arab, half quarter.

your diary is so true - it touches the heart of everyone ever blessed to be "owned by" a horse!

my sani is now 25 and just diagnosed with cushings/insulin resistance and laminitis.

he's doing well on his recovery but i almost cancelled friday's hand surgery (replacing those knuckles in my left hand that were used as "whoa" instead of my butt - i learned the hard way that 1000 lbs always wins!).  we haven't gotten the next prescription pergolide in yet and i wasn't going in until i had him covered.  there's a wonderful woman and her hubby at the barn with a mare with cushings who just got hers filled and she's covering sani until the script arrives.  he comes first. period!

yes, heaven really IS that wind between their ears.... and, yes, it was nimbus who taught ME how to "fly".  nothing can compare to the magic of a horse.  nothing can be as quiet and soothing and beautiful as sitting atop that gentle (or sometimes not so when they are "teaching" us a "lesson") and nothing is more sublime than riding with the mind instead of the aids...

nims was a dressage baby bought from a hack barn - he could be everything depending on his mood, but when he was in "high school" mode, he was amazing!

you've inspired me to share his story while i am recovering from the surgery... thank you SO much for sharing raffon with us!

may you still be riding into the wind forever!

        i plan to be!

        nimbus (totally blind here...)

        nimbus sends unicorn wishes

and, sani... my little "ikea pony" (swedish warmblood)
