The president needs to appoint Poker Czar.

Still scraping my jaw off the floor.  When he said he would not negotiate over the debt limit, he functionally declared the opposite.

First Debate Barack needs to self-deport.

      •  The $400,000 figure, where we currently stand, (6+ / 0-)

is an interesting one.  The president draws a $400,000/yr salary.  By lurching above the $250,000 baseline, Obama has effectively exempted himself from his own "People Like Me" clause, now raising taxes only on earners over his salary.

Understanding he makes more than his salary, I nevertheless think that this is a huge political and rhetorical error if he doesn't rescind the offer.  I mean, how many times has Obama said "people like me don't deserve a tax cut"?  That line worked when the number was $250K.  It no longer does, at least when it comes to his salary.
