    for these programs"

AMEN iceberg slim! Yet despite promises to the contrary, we are now the sacrificial lambs on the altar of bipartisan bullshit.

Working since I was 16 too, and G*Damn right I'm entitled to the system I helped pay for!

I'm simply blow away by this so called brinksmanship or 11th dimensional chess BS.

Guess we can petition and howl and "hope" they hear us to "change" their minds despite obvious polling that this concession is not what the people want.

    I'm simply pissed.

cing people that your policies are right will possibly change the power situation in this country. Whining about the President and not putting any thought into what might be political posturing and what might be the strategy of the President doesn't.

He who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.

The VP promised SS is off the table during the campaign and he was essentially speaking for BO.  Simple promises undercut leave wounds regardless of party.  Remember "Read my lips...."?  This American and I reckon many others wish our president to actually stand for something (and SS is as strong a Democratic principal as any out there if not thee strongest).  Remember that other guy he beat? His most obvious quality was flippin' and floppin' more than a fish out of water.
