    the is Reagan's HealthyForests™ v 2.0.1.3ut to sea.

Thanks Dan, and thanks for highlighting the Yurok theft by those same people.  I haven't noticed any followup since the initial arrests hit all the papers up there, ...will keep looking.

Lost Coast Outpost a link to their article on this today....written by the Ocean Conservancy's Jennifer Savage..and of course glowing.

In the comments are some juicy slams..and the story has other links as well.

    Keep at it Dan!

    •  Ocean Conservancy is funded by Walmart (0+ / 0-)

As pointed out in several previous articles, the Ocean Conservancy - what many refer to as "Ocean Con" - is given millions of dollars every year by the Walton Family Foundation. You can hardly trust a group that is funded by the Princes and Princesses of Darkness, the Walton Family.

There is no doubt that because of direct action, civil disobedience, and marches, the people on the North Coast got screwed the least by the MLPA Initiative. However, there are many serious questions that remain with Yurok Tribal fishing rights, the terminally flawed science and the fact that the chair of the science team has been charged with embezzlement.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Yurok Tribe sues, though the three lawsuits against the Initiative - one by an environmentalist/journalist and the other two by fishing groups - failed to block the illegal process. At this point, I have absolutely no respect for the Brown administration and the judges for allowing this fiasco to proceed forward.

      Thanks for the kind words!
