    harming other living beings, namely transportation.

    Guns are weapons. Their only purpose is to harm or kill animals or people. Therefore we should regulate them more stringently.

    It's probably harder to get a katana in most states than it is to carry a firearm, and yet you can kill many more people much more quickly with a gun than you ever could with a katana. Go figure.

      has used a car to mow down victims, sometimes even small crowds of them.  A nutjob is a nutjob, his weapon of choice is irrelevant.  Hell, nutjobs using large vehicles murdered almost 3,000 people on 9/11 and not one gun was involved.

      ..not just a means to an end. I prefer archery, myself, but I'm also using a potentially lethal weapon for a recreational purpose that doesn't involve killing anything.
