Personally I think the clueless one is you.

    But that's just my opinion.

right until the negotiations are concluded.  Then our opinions will be subjected to the test of truth.

    •  There was quite a bit of hollering (0+ / 0-)

back when Obama was doing his 145th show of bipartisanship to the Party of No, but as it turned out, his increasingly dramatic demonstrations of their refusal to sign on to even the most Republican-lite proposals were what fueled his re-election.  I believe you were one of his vocal critics at the time but it turned out he was right, considering the opposition he faced, to use that tactic.  I think he is using it again.

      But that's just my opinion.

      •  No they weren't (0+ / 0-)

It turnd out I was right as Obama's political firtuns turned when he stood up to the GOP.

You say we will find out who was right about the cliff negotiations but I don't think you will since you refuse to accept what happened on the debt ceiling.

        •  Well, I refuse to accept your RENDITION (0+ / 0-)

of what happened on the debt ceiling, but that's not the same as "accepting what happened."

I amend my statement:  I will find out who was right about the cliff negotiations; you will shape the outcome to fit your predeterminations.

        •  Doesnt ever occur to you (0+ / 0-)

that "standing up to the GOP" was popular because it was preceded by a long, exhausting, but ultimately necessary Kabuki show of bipartisanship?  Which was my original point?
