can't engage people who only see an issue here or an issue there to nitpick. unfortunately there are some here who have the exact opposite of the tea party mentality but believe in their tactics.

I suggest you calm down and come back later

    •  Primarying Levin might be perceived as ageist (0+ / 0-)

IIRC, back in 2006, incumbent Wisconsin Secretary of State Doug LaFollette (D) ran for re-election and faced a primary challenge from Scot Ross, now the executive director of One Wisconsin Now. Ross claimed that the Democratic Party needed "energetic and enthusiastic leadership" from the Wisconsin Secretary of State's Office, which was basically Ross's way of attacking LaFollette for being 66 years old at the time.

LaFollette won the primary easily and went on to win the general election that year.

Elizabeth Warren on the Senate Banking Committee is a BFD!

... who ran such a campaign and wouldn't ... my arguments with the senator and his recent positions have nothing to do with his age. They have to do with poor judgment on policy and direction from someone who's become entrenched in a world that badly needs to be broken apart and rebuilt based on the needs of the people.
