There are a few things I want to clarify though for people as they are scrolling through the comments with question marks about what is this flux thing and and what the heck is an EBR?

Fishgrease in his post is talking about fusion - combining 2 hydrogen to make helium - just like the sun does. Accompanying it, a pretty basic reactor design. I am saying that more money needs to be thrown into materials research for fusion reactors. The second thing is that some of this research takes a long time... and we live in a society that is RESULTS AND PROFITS NOW PLZ KTHX BAI.

BlackSheep1 is referring to a type of fission reactor. Fission is splitting very heavy atoms under the right conditions (in this case, neutron bombardment). I am saying the United States has built this type of reactor in the past but we only have one that I'm aware of still in operation.

I'm from science so the stuff I say seems normal to me. If for any reasons you want to know WTF I'm talking about, just ask... publicly or privately. Any expert out there who spots I'm wrong, correct me (nicely, please).

Why hello there reality, how are you doing?
