    firearms. One was taken in a break-in, more than 10 years ago, from my Dad's house in Brownfield. The insurance company offered to replace it, if he could estimate the cost. Sears doesn't carry that particular JC Higgins bolt-action semi-auto tube-magazine .22LR any more, and Dad didn't want to go to a pawn shop or gun store to look for one. He elected not to claim it as a loss, but we did take the sales receipt (with the serial number, and date of sale, in September 49!) to the cops to report it stolen.
