Not the warm-up exercise before winning.

Economics is a social *science*. Can we base future economic decisions on math?

obviously only the winner needs a transition team.

But that team needs offices, equipment etc. from day 1.

We have offices in DC.  Plenty of them, and they all have nice cushy expansive conference rooms (paid for by you and me) where transition meetings can take place.  If office space needs to be rented- fine, but I can't believe that underutilized or ancillary space doesn't exist now in ever single Federal department in DC.  Furthermore, with the mobile work culture in place today, between phones and laptops, no new equipment need be bought.

This whole scam is a gigantic earmark, and the beneficiaries this time around were folks like the Bush loving Michael Dell, who just sold 500 laptops to us that we didn't need.

There are very few subjects which do not interest or fascinate me.

But I sure a hell don't want a presidential transition team working on their own computers. Who knows what might be on them? Viruses, key loggers, etc. and I don't want them using anything but a very secure connection either.

This isn't just working from home. This is high level, critical info, that needs to be protected.
