    we are finally going to get a couple lows cold enough to scare the bugs away down here.  Windy and rainy and sharply dropping temperatures tonight.

    Cold and windy tomorrow.  The first truly cold day of the fall/winter.

    Sorry about your blizzard, but the snow is good for the midwest,  snow melt grows crops in the long run.  Stay safe.

      I could use a good hard freeze to KILL the little b*st*rds!

      We're still in rather dry conditions, ranging to drought  (in some parts) across Texas.  I still have lettuce growing in Dallas on Dec. 20th!  Unheard of...

      Broccoli, kohl-rabi, anyone?  It's still growing fine out there.  I just pulled the last of the eggplant and various peppers about ten days ago.

      Crazy weather.

        to 27, kill a few, let others burrow in and wait it out.   Need a freeze of several days to get a couple inches deep into the soil at least.  Not gonna happen with this front.   Maybe next time.
