  •  So in trying to win votes to pass his Plan B... (5+ / 0-)

where he thinks he'll give himself the negotiation edge he adds in a whole bunch of far right wish list garbage in in doing so makes the whole reason for having the vote useless.

So WH and Reid can point to how ridiculous the vote was and how it would pile on the poor to protect the rich etc and not at all a serious attempt at the issue but a silly waste of time "show/peacock vote".

The NRA is the Gun Manufacturer Lobby. Nothing more. Their pontification about the second amendment is nothing more than their ad jingle. They're the domestic version of the Military Industrial Complex.

of proposing "Plan B" in the first place, doesn't it?

But that's just how radical the Republican caucus has become.

Boner was going to have a point, sort of, until he loaded the tax cut down with all sorts of unacceptable crap proving that he is INDEED holding our tax cuts hostage and giving the senate a reason to vote no that just about everyone thinks is reasonable.

One piece of free advice to the GOP: Drop the culture wars, explicitly.
