to you both, Kitsap River and Charles.

What you're going through sounds terrible, and I hope it is some temporary transient icky illness and nothing more serious.

We are local to you, and I'm curious which hospital did this?  Based on your description of the ER doc, I have a pretty safe guess...

I also have the worst veins and am terrible with IVs.  You have every sympathy from me there.  Last time I was in the ER, the nurse couldn't do it right and wouldn't call the expert that I'd had before because she had "30 years of experience doing this" didn't I know!  Give me a break, you want to make your patient suffer or your ego?  I can see what's more important to you.  Wound up with the worst and most painful IV placement of my life.  Couldn't get them to fix it and had to deal with it for hours upon hours.

Best to you both, may this pass quickly without further complication.

St. Joe's is supposed to be much better. Next time I need to go to the ER and can't make it over to the UW ER, that's where we'll head.

Organ donors save lives! A donor's kidney gave me my life back on 02/18/11; he lives on in me. Please talk with your family about your wish to donate.

Why are war casualty counts "American troops" and "others" but never "human beings"?
