  •  How scary for you both! (3+ / 0-)

Blood electrolytes were OK? Including Mg and K?

Healing thoughts coming to you both, may take a bit because it's been pouring here.  Anyway, best wishes for a quick recovery and happy holidays.

and my creatinine was actually the lowest it's been since before July, 2006, which was outstanding news.

Mg is something I take as a supplement twice a day, because otherwise it runs low. K is usually fine, as I enjoy fresh fruit, except I had to take a K supplement the whole time I was on dialysis. Frequent dialysis pulls out K so this is not unexpected. I also had to eat two servings of high-K foods daily. This is, to me, a great argument for home dialysis.

Why are war casualty counts "American troops" and "others" but never "human beings"?
