the wait staff try to conceal where they get their shrimp. But when they do finally tell you they tell you there's nothing wrong with it.

So they want to feed me Gulf food and weaken healthcare and slash income. Why would anyone eat there?!

since a friend told me about his daughter's experience working there; no place to take coffee or lunch breaks, short notice to come in; all in all shabby treatment of employees.

      No thanks.

because it's so hard to find wild caught shrimp.  If it isn't from the gulf, it's been raised on filthy farms in Thailand or somewhere without any regulation at all that are just waiting for a major outbreak of some kind.

Them's sad words from an Alaskan whose Papa used to teach and then go shrimping in the summers.  Every once in a while I can find some shrimp caught by real shrimpers in Alaskan waters, but they sell out of the back of trucks.

    •  Ugh, avoid the shrimp at OG (0+ / 0-)

I never bothered with where it came from, my problem is that it's awful.

Last time I ate at OG, I swear the dish I had was poured out of a can.
