  •  What kind of mentality does it take to think that (12+ / 0-)

    a tiny bit of marijuana being smoked in a car -- if there even had been that -- would be worth a body cavety search?  Surely it takes some worse crime than that to be worth our giving up the right to the integrity of our own bodies.

    Oh -- and it's a body search on the side of a public road?  When did that become police procedure?  The official behavior of police departments is getting more and more extreme and bizarre.

      It is just this kind of gross invasion of safety, security, privacy, humanity, and 4th Amendment rights -- often affecting minorities, youth, and the poor -- that is wrongly justified in the enforcement of drug laws.
