All this presuming and suspecting... the poor cops have no way to know for sure if a person is guilty or not and all those constitutional complications with presumption of innocence etc. that the overworked cops have to find ways around...

For efficiency's sake and a big helping hand to privatized prisons why not just go totally with original sin and presumption of guilt for all (after all, we will all do something technically illegal eventually!) and then it would make sense to just have universal, indefinite preventative-detention in corporate prisons right out of high school for most of the 99%... save a lot of time and money and cuts crime to virtually 0% for the 99%!!... graduate to being a career prison worker or guard... for life. much more efficient.

...and all the body cavity searches would then be legal since they would all be done while in permanent legal custody... totally win-win for legality, efficiency, profits and fighting crime.

We can disband most police forces so officers could transfer to prison staff... no expense for patrol cars... just need a few search vehicles for the odd escaped citizen... but gee, where to escape to if everyone except our overlords is in preventative custody?... plow up the plebes dwellings for more agri-business acreage to grow GM crops to aid the 1%'s exports and to efficiently supply the 300 million inmates with swill.

See we have to think of the officers... When they are accused of this and that by probable criminals they eventually go back on duty ... most of them anyway but it is all so inefficient. Why not make it so these traffic stops don't happen anymore by not having anyone out on the road or owning a car or having freedom of movement and likely never possessing or smoking marijuana... so naturally their would be no need to suspect people of possibly being a pot user? Lock everyone up! The cops would not be put through these stressful charades where people say bad things about them if everyone was already in prison... all problems solved.

Or we could just get rid of bad cops... hmmm
