    I love my minister -- his Christmas sermon was a reminder that Christ was a revolutionary, who preached a message of hope for the poor and downtrodden, the sick and frightened; he reminded us that our mission in life was to work for them.  

    My church was constructed in 1775; the unknown Revolutionary War soldier is buried in the back.  George Washington occasionally worshipped there and was eulogized from the pulpit.

      after communion; right before joy to the world ;-)

      our pastor mentioned all the people who aren't home tonight:  the homeless, the imprisoned, the military, and those who must work.
