  •  no, Carney didn't say that (0+ / 0-)

The only thing Carney referred to was taxes.

    •  Carney SUCKS... (5+ / 0-)

he keeps saying "the same deal is available, the same deal is available..."

It was a shitty deal, and now it'll be the baseline for more GOP demands.
I'M sick of the political malpractice.

Q    Are you saying that the offer that the President has made is his final word --

MR. CARNEY:  I am not saying that.  I am saying that there is an offer on the table from the President, and there was an offer that supposedly, because it was proffered by the Speaker of the House, had the support of his members -- at least a measure of them -- that is not all that far from what the President was offering.  And there is, within reason, room to compromise.

      •  Carney right after Plan B collapsed (0+ / 0-)
The President’s main priority is to ensure that taxes don’t go up on 98 percent of Americans and 97 percent of small businesses in just a few short days. The President will work with Congress to get this done and we are hopeful that we will be able to find a bipartisan solution quickly that protects the middle class and our economy.
        Nothing other than taxes.
      •  yeah, that sucks (3+ / 0-)
