They can't even get the batshit crazy in their own party to sign off on an already bad bill that was guaranteed to not get democratic support.

So the president is caving in against a person who can't even get his own party to vote for his own batshit crazy proposals. Now Chained CPI is forever on the table because Obama wanted to "play nice"

That was beyond stupid. It is time for the President to accept the fact that the other side isn't just against him but hates him to the core and questions if he even is the legit leader. It is time to play tough Obama. Say "Only the senate's version is on the table. Pass it or we accept complete end of the bush tax cuts."

Even if they still wont pass under 250K tax cuts next year. Democrats can still restore the balance with other bills. Hit them with 1 or two percent tax cuts at a time and let the newspapers show that republicans voted AGAINST tax cuts.

This isn't 13D chess folks. Obama is trying to play nice and it simply isn't working. You can't play 13D Chess against a party that considers the chess board to be be a needless government expense in my opinion.
