    ..Jim Rome & Rush Limbaugh:

In my part of the country, up until about a year ago the local AM station dedicated to sports carried Rome everyday...until one day they suddenly dropped Rome & picked up Rush Limbaugh.

(You can imagine how pissed I was to get in my car, looking forward to hearing Jim Rome, & shit-for-brains is, out of nowhere, suddenly blasting his bullshit through my radio speakers).

So everyday from 11am until 2pm, there is no more Jim Rome.  Just the obese nutjob spewing his ignorant hate.

I have no idea what happened, but I was a Jim Rome fan.

If you are convinced Limbaugh is on his last leg, well he's not.  At least not in my part of the country.

is on his last legs, but that his syndicator and Clear Channel may have to make some harsh decisions -- either his next contract is going to be a lot smaller than he's accustomed, or he might have to find a whole new syndicator if Premiere keeps shedding money.

      •  Doesn't Bain own Clear Channel now? (2+ / 0-)

If so, their unquenchable thirst for fast cash is going to trump their support for political ideologues.  It's going to be biting the hand that has fed (enabled) them to a large extent.

There already is class warfare in America. Unfortunately, the rich are winning.

from Richard's diaries -- another financial pressure on Premiere. And now that it looks like Romney's done in politics (though he could pull a Harold Stassen and run for a few more primaries) maybe Bain will also lose their interest in political ideology -- it's more expensive to buy a candidate than it is to raise one in house.
