a long and dusty road. It's a hard and heavy load".  I admire the team.

Will you continue in a charter school?  Is it what you hoped for?

    •  I am there for this year (0+ / 0-)

so far they want me back

I am there not because it is a charter but because of people I knew at the school and because of its mission

my wife wants me in a classroom, but that is not a given.  I am exploring not only other possible teaching opportunities, but also a couple of things outside of education.

Frankly, if I knew I could make 15-20K a year from writing and consulting, I would probably jump at the opportunity, as much as I enjoy teaching.

The school I am at requires a huge amount of energy because of our population, and in my mid-60s I do not know if I can sustain it for a full year.
