    but there is a trail that goes up around either side, and it's possible to get to the top of the mountain. Two decades ago, (and hopefully to this day), there were a number of bighorn sheep living on the mountain, and on one hike we quietly climbed up to the edge of the south cliff and saw them below us. Also saw a ring-tail cat and a spotted skunk on that trip. It is an incredible place, as is so much of Arizona.

    Just this fall an automatic camera got another photo of a jaguar, this time near the Sta Rita mountains. I hope they re-establish themselves and I hope you are one of the lucky few who gets a good look at one.  http://azstarnet.com/...
