    ...yet, while perhaps not in a legal way, I assume, it seems reasonable that people would feel as if their privacy was violated and potentially their safety compromised given the value of stolen firearms.

    There's lots of data that is public that could be aggregated, packaged, and published in a way that constitutes a privacy invasion. My life is filled with totally out, public behaviors, things I'm proud of, yet I wouldn't advertise them or wear them "on my sleeve" in a crowd with "mutant variations" everywhere. Imagine is the items we publicly purchase at the grocery and pharmacy stores were assembled and published for our neighbors...
