Many gun owners don't own guns for self defense but for sport shooting in totally different terrain than inside a house. I wouldn't DARE try my hand at shooting a gun, while freaked out and nervous with someone breaking into my home, in a small space like a house with bullets that could ricochet and crap.

All gun owners aren't trained to "kill people in enclosed spaces."

Many are trained to hit coyotes from hundreds of feet away, outdoors, in clear terrain.

Big difference, as any single person who has ever shot a gun will attest to.

your 60-inch flat screen TV -- with a monitored home security system, and (for guns) a locked safes really good idea. Guns are stolen from homes when no one is home. And stolen guns are often used in other crimes. Just sayin'.
