    And maybe not even next Christmas, because the support the families will get through this first Christmas and likely on the first anniversary will likely be substantially helpful.

    But eventually there will come a Christmas for these families without any support, and that Christmas and the Christmas's thereafter will be the worst.

    Although not everyone reacts the same after losing a child, some will come to hate or try to ignore this Holiday.  They will see no joy and only pain from Christmas and want to get by it as quickly as possible so pain it brings will pass.

    I don't make this prediction to be depressing, I make it out of my wife's personal experience.  I only ask that you understand the devastation losing a child brings and that you not render an unfair judgement of person's attitude towards Christmas when that person has lost a child.
