  •  Let's start by getting the "Democratic" Senators (4+ / 0-)

who are leaving office to get already, without their interference these negotiations would be so much better off.  And that includes Lieberman as well.

    •  With all due respect, I would like to say (3+ / 0-)

I have watched Lieberman blobbing on about this and that on MSNBC lately.  Why do we care what he thinks?  He is not "retiring" with honors and respect, he has been DRUBBED OUT.  Finally.

Yet still, we have to hear him drone on about what he thinks. If what he thinks was popular with enough people, he'd still be a senator.  And thank the Lord, come January, he's done.

But I fear we're going to have to keep hearing from him. Put this down as #whatever on my list of how freaking LAZY the media is. For Pete's sake, get out there and find a relevant voice.

Lieberman is not relevant to the right, and he's not relevant to the left, and he's not relevant to independents.  IMO, he does not deserve any further voice. He gambled that option away in an attempt to sail with wherever the prevailing winds sent him.

Nowhere man. Read the Beatles lyrics. Imo, they describe Lieberman.

"A typical vice of American politics is the avoidance of saying anything real on real issues." Theodore Roosevelt.
