    When I was in my mid 20's I worked 84 hours a week for a year and a half. I did it out of fear of what the future might bring.

    When you start out in life wondering if there will be a next meal, you never give up the chance to make sure there will be. That year and 1/2 gave me the comfort I needed to be secure, though I still did not turn down overtime after that. Down to 50 hours a week.

    Peace of mind is to each us Us to find in our own way.

      sometimes you can work 84 hours a week without neglecting a spouse or children and your parents are still young enough to not need your care.

      working that way when you do have people close at hand who need you and miss your presence, that's what turns into significant regret
