and can result in negativity, which is an accumulation of psychological time, and denial of the present-

Others in the same negativity ballpark are, but not limited to; unease, stress, anxiety, tension et al ; which is the root cause of dis-ease; or not at ease in the inner body due to excessive use of the mind in thought-

The other half is non-forgiveness aka St Anger, caused by a buildup of egoic mind patterns of unconsciousness rooted in  past experiences which can express itself in guilt, bitterness, regret, resentment, grievances and sadness , which also contributes to dis-ease; or not at ease in the inner body due to excessive, and unabated use of the mind in thought that denies the present moment; all anyone ever actually has...

        biological origin.

Wether the perceived threat  is based on normal internal psychological phenomena like projection or (due to tragic previous experiences, usually) overreactive amigdolas, or common difficulties in weighing external stimulus or the comprehensive Gestalt. We can misinterpret reality due to ignorance, false or misapplied beliefs, or simple bad luck in assessing the context of an event we are facing,

Anger calls from us the complex art of knowing when to go with instinct and react at the moment, and when to pull back and analyze the source of fear and its implications.

Without emotions, we would be so simple--and not human.
