The fire-breathers are determined to destroy the party.
Instead of stretching it out, he should step aside and let the full-on crazy rock'n roll.

    Let them crash and burn.

The GOP needs to re-build and you can't rebuild a house that's still burning.

about Boehner, if he stepped down it would be a disaster for them.  They'd be stuck with Eric Cantor who always sounds like a snotty prep school kid who hasn't yet met the bully that will surely beat him up some day.  Kind of like Romney, who FINALLY met that bully---the American people---in the last election.

I agree that the only way the GOP is going to change is to "crash and burn."  With the last election they sure did crash, but apparently, they still don't feel the heat.

Unfortunately, deep in their little poisonous hearts, the GOP knows they need Boehner. And Boehner knows it too. Which is going to prolong the whole process of re-building the GOP. Sticking us all between a rock and a hard place.  They need Boehner's "legitimacy" as a front, but they won't listen to it or bend to it.

No, the GOP has chosen for now to let their party die a slow painful death, that hurts us all.
