    As a Republican, I'm pro-Sun and think we're "playing with fire" when we interfere in God's plan. If He thought we needed an alternative to fossil fuels, He wouldn't have put all that oil in the ground. I don't see anything in scripture about nanotech.

        to satirize Republican know-nothingism, particularly they're distrust of science. I think it partially explains the growth of Libertarianism in Silicon Valley, which draws a line in the sand between their pro-business instincts and all the creationist nonsense.
