will change the power of inside knowledge.  If individuals can communicate with each other easier than the government can, you have a whole new ballgame.

It's impossible to keep things secret for long and shooting the witnesses goes viral on UTube sooner or later.

America's settlers were contract employees, with charters from the trading corporations, who were licensed by the king.

When corporations took liberties with the rights of British citizens, they took umbrage.  Lost it in a couple skirmishes, but got it back.  Sorry. The king sent troops to protect the rights of the corporations over the rights of his citizens. He lost.

So the Revolutionary War was fought not against an evil government, but against a king who let his citizens be abused for money. That was tyranny.

The founding fathers wrote our constitution to make sure that corporations didn't have their hands in the political pie again.  And that the government was the shield against abuse by corporations. And that includes corporations called religions.

Let's go real originalist on them.  Of the People, For the People, By the People (NOT 'buy the people.)

The bourgeoisie has stripped of its halo every occupation hitherto honored and looked up to with reverent awe. It has converted the physician, the lawyer, the priest, the poet, the man of science, into its paid wage laborers. - The Communist Manifesto
