    Could we permanently suppress predatory financial capitalism while leaving industrial capitalism strong?  Should we?
    Capitalism is a finite entity.  It constantly needs to expand, whereas its power to grab everything in sight is limited by its ability to run the biosphere of planet Earth as a machine for the production of capital accumulation.  So the answer to both of your questions is "no."
