    UI.  Their base loves sticking it to the unemployed.  I think it actually turns them on.

        super red districts are interested in their own politicians helping out the poor in anyway and that includes the unemployed.  

        Pick any poll you like regarding extending unemployment in recent history and look at the number of republicans who actually support it.   Here's just one to start:

        "Broken down by party affiliation, about 7 in 10 Democrats said they supported an extension, while most Republicans said they opposed it. Independents were more evenly divided, with 47 percent in favor and 42 percent opposed."

          For example, while its true a lot of districts are heavily gerrmandered to favor the GOP, there are still districts that are heavy in both independents and aren't as easy for the GOP to hold even with the concentrated gerrmandering. So when I asked the question- what I am seeking is some kind of indication that

          This article seems to indicate they don't believe as you do that this is some kind of hot button issue for them int heir districts.

          I did find other articles from unnamed sources saying otherwise like on the Hill.

          What I am looking for is this passion that you and others claim is against it. I am not finding it. I am finding indifference which says to me ifnot a part of this overall bargaining strategy it would pass.
