    If you read the pdf link on E. Ivy - it clearly is. The article is specifically about the Pacific NW. Down south here in Florida, we have worse. I spend most weekends in winter fighting them (coral ardisa, nandina, privet, climbing fern and even Oregon Grape). But it's always a good way to get out in the woods, get exercise, share time with others, and see different things while working.

      I was groovin' on the woodsy scenery until the English ivy showed up.  Suddenly my invade-o-meter began shouting, "danger, danger."  Sometimes I think it would be better if I knew less.  But then I might turn into a Republican, so let's keep things the way they are.

      And English ivy is invasive in the Northwest.  It was one of the plants we were told to document during the Fort Lewis (Tacoma area) forest inventory earlier this year.
