Many voters didn't choose Obama based on the warm and fuzzies -- many voted for him primnarily to protect SS and Medicare.
    Volunteers and donors too.

Plus a number of other dramatic differences on policy between Obama and Romney.

I didn't put much faith or trust in his promises. Let call it as it is, Obama is a political liar and his word is not dependable. Biden's "guarantee" is meaningless because he can't guarantee the President will do anything. I fully expect Obama to give away the farm, so to speak, since that is what he does. When it comes to negotiating it seems as though Obama says to himself, what would Neville Chamberlain do?

On election day I had a choice between two Republicans; Willard Romney and Barack Obama. Obama was the lesser evil and ever slightly more honest of the two. Except for the phrase "I'm Mitt Romney and I approved this message" every other utterance by him and Ryan was a bald faced lie.

Personally, I hope they can't reach agreement and go over the cliff. In the long run I think it will be best for everyone, including the country.
