    According to the linked article, the price of milk might go up to $6-$7 per gallon because the government will have to start BUYING it for that price.
    Why would a dairy sell to you at $3 if it could sell to the government at $6?

    The clear implication is that they are profitable at $3.

    So what are the rules about government give-aways?

    Some for the Glories of This World; and some Sigh for the Prophet's Paradise to come; Ah, take the Cash, and let the Credit go, Nor heed the rumble of a distant Drum!
