    I agree that this set of documents does not constitute the Orwellian plot that some have imagined. But even so, it is disturbing that federal agents are assigned to keep track of people and groups simply because they may be critical of the government. I don't see federal agents spying on VFW or ASPCA meetings and neither should they be snooping around any other kind of civil society gathering. When an actual interstate felony is suspected, that's something for the FBI to investigate. But simply because a group of people may get a little loud and, at worst, sleep in the park or break a window - those are strictly the kind of misdemeanor offenses that local cops can deal with.
