    later tonite - but one thing struck me instantly!

    that this was listed as an anarchist movement may be why all the attention!

    david graeber repeatedly on this site and other places took credit (whether justifed or not) with being the original driving force - stating he worked closely with those who put forward the "arab spring" movement (one which was extremely marredwith violence, btw)

    putting the dialogue being openly stated in the media and internet, it is my first reaction that the government would have been irresponsible to do nothing.  think of the violence in the u.s. by the anarchist participants in places like seattle and elsewhere.

    this isn't a simple story by any means - there are many aspects to this story - such as the potential for fringe hate groups, under the cover of ows, to manipulate the situation.

    all this said, i am NOT excusing the deplorable behavior be many in law enforcement who used the movement as a cover for their own abusive behavior.

    what i am saying is that this is not a simple situation and neither side is all right or all wrong.
