    I find the existence of the DSAC to be outrageous. I am extremely skeptical of the so-called "Homeland" security surveillance/control infrastructure that has been built up in this country over the last ten years, which the FBI is now part of. I think we should be vigilant and alert to the possibility that this apparatus has been and is being used against the interests of regular Americans.

    I'm not convinced that the FBI should have any role in monitoring or influencing the political activities of Americans, something that is clearly outlined in the documents you list above as well as in credible, non-Wolf press reports of FBI plants and provocateurs among Occupy groups.

    The entire subtext here is very troubling to me. Though redacted, the documents that I read suggested that such FBI monitoring was widespread and that the FBI was coordinating with the targets of the protests in ways that are inappropriate to say the least, and gross violations at the worst.
