  •  Since 2nd amendement is intended to maintain a (3+ / 0-)

    orderly militia, I would think it should be mandetory that anyone owning an assult capacity weapon should have to be part of the National Guard, train regulary and be available for military serve upon immediate call from their state government.  Otherwise, there is no other reason to own a weapons grade assult gul.

      Hence the need for a repeal.

      They also seem to ignore that first part of it.

        Article 1: The Second amendment to the constitution shall be amended to read:
        "Because a well-regulated militia is necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the militia to have access to arms shall not be infringed."

        Article 2: The militia shall be composed of well-trained and well-disciplined organizations funded by the several States and Federal authority of able bodied citizens who volunteer for militia duty.

        Article 3: The states and the federal authority shall have the statutory authority to define "well-regulated," "security," "access."
