UPS, FedEx, and DHL compete internationally and domestically for trade.

Pizza Hut, Dominos, Papa Johns, and others compete just in the pizza segment.

Walmart in Retail competes with Target, K-Mart, others.

Large grocery chains exist within the Fortune 1000.

There are lots of very large companies without a regional monopoly.

      Home Depot has Lowes.
