    I think it is more likely a subdural hematoma, which is not an uncommon outcome from a head injury. It can be serious and life-threatening if not treated properly (think Natasha Richardson). With proper care she will do fine.

      look people - we have very limited information at this point.

      can we maybe concentrate our energy on sending her healing thoughts and /or prayers, and allow the medical staff to  inform us what's what, when it's the proper time?

      the fact is, WE AREN'T THERE, AND WE BASICALLY DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING.

      we don't know jack right now.
