    we largely got wiped out here.  Even in Lane County a progressive lost a seat in on the county commission (in Eugene, no less) to a former Republican state legislator whose old seat we picked up in 2006, meaning we only have 1 progressive on a commission of 5 people.  In LANE County!

        All of the most progressive parts of Eugene are packed into one district, but we should still be able to elect at least moderate Dems in three others.  Two of them were up in 2010...
