  •  I wonder the same about you and the other serious (0+ / 0-)

liberals. If you are as serious as you claim, why don't you take a page from the Tea Party (whom I despise for their positions--but this particular tactic is quite smart) and actually put together serious funding for more progressive candidates or run for office yourselves. Berating the rest of us on the internet is unlikely to change actual policies.

Ironically, that is exactly what Barack Obama did. He could have made partner by now at a law firm of his choosing in Chicago but instead opted to go into politics as a state senator.

      (1) the core argument I made is that you aren't serious about achieving the goals you claim you want to achieve because you aren't willing to primary. And your response is that I should organize  it for you?

      (2) Then you end your already strange comment with a really strange paragraph  about President Obama, which counts at best a non sequitur. He's not up for re-election. YOu know that right?

      •  My response (0+ / 0-)

        (1) You assume that the only means for obtaining these goals is via the primary system but you offer no support for this supposition. I did not ask you to organize anything for me. I suggested you take direct action yourself (aka behavioral activation therapy) as opposed to the indirect action of hoping/suggesting others do it for you.

        (2) My supposed non sequitur was the natural continuation of my previous point, utilizing the methodology known as providing an example.

        •  rebuttal (0+ / 0-)

          (1) You continue to be confused. Its your wish list of goals to be acheived. Your response in context makes me question your ability to reason.

          (2) Your second response really doesn't help the case regarding your reasoning skills? Again Obame isn't up for re-election, he's not relevant to the idea of primarying people. In fact, its quite bizare you would even bring him up considering the discussion. May be you syould spend less time trying to one up me on a random blog and actually get to organizing  so that those stated goals you claim to care so much about you can actually achieve.

          •  I think you may be confused. (0+ / 0-)

I don't mean that sardonically as you have used the word in your comment. I think you literally are confusing me with the person who wrote the initial comment. Please check the string of comments. I have never provided a stated list of goals to be achieved in a discussion with you.

Also, thanks for the laugh regarding my ability to reason.
