    It's certainly reasonable to recognize that the mere appearance of someone carrying a firearm can be intimidating -- and for some people, under given  circumstances, even terrorizing.  In this respect, don't we all have a fundamental "right" -- or at least a reasonable expectation -- to be free from terror?  Therein lies the rub, eh?  The balance of competing rights.  And many would say the balance tends to tilt too far towards protecting 2nd Amendment rights at the expense of infringing on other rights that should be just as important.  Yep, I hear you.

    Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.
