      * Associate employment & work with achieving clean energy / climate change benefits

      * Do not shirk from confronting climate skeptics

      * Do not let energy / energy services be an afterthought in life but an actively considered thing ... every day

      * Lose at least 9 pounds (.75 month) and preferably 15

      Societal 12 Progressive Priorities:

      * Climate Mitigation / Adaptation that incorporates Environmental/Economic Justice as a core element

      * Legalize (& tax) marijuana

      * Prison / Justice reform, shift focus to preemptive efforts (education, social work, etc) + rehabilitation while driving down drive down 'for profit' prison system

      * Green the educational system -- save money, reduce pollution, improve test scores

      * Political reform -- over turning Citizens United, nation-wide voting reform (universal mail-in voting), nation-wide non-partisan drawing of districts, ...

      * Fiscal Reform -- Including ending many tax subsidies for the extreme rich, equalizing earnings from capital and work in taxes, ...

      * Expanding Health Care Reform -- with target toward single-payer system (preferred would be mix of public / private, like French or German systems)

      * Carbon Fee -- gradually introduced carbon fee (starting at $14/ton in 2014 and going up every year), with 1/3rd fees going to rebates (to American citizens living in US), 1/6th used to offset reduced taxation of wages, and 1/2rd used for climate mitigation, climate science, climate adaptation (w/1/6th of that for foreign aid in these arenas)

      * Reform of financial system to remove incentives for dirty energy and to reward clean energy/energy efficiency (such as including energy in mortgage calculations)

      * Immigration Reform -- perhaps 'amnesty' with fine incorporated into it for everyone who entered illegally over age 15 (fine is admitting that they broke law and have consequences for doing so -- re fine, make it something added to taxes that is over 25 years with very (VERY) small payments at low income levels and increasing the % if someone 'makes it big')

      * Strengthen safety net programs (social security, welfare, food stamps, unemployment) (e.g., increase resources) while adopting (REASONABLE) measures for dealing with true 'fraud' cases equitably

      * Gun Control Measures -- take good examples around the world that will accommodate 'hunters' while reducing threat to civil society from mass gun ownership of 'military' weapons
